FAQ

We're so glad that you are considering visiting with us at Morningside; it would be an honor to meet you!  Here's what you might expect to encounter during your visit.

What will the worship service be like?
Our worship gatherings are an opportunity to honor God through the preaching of God's Word (The Bible), through the prayers that we pray, and through the songs that we sing.  Our music is most often led by acoustic guitar and a piano, and don't be surprised to sing both modern worship songs as well as a classic hymn or two.  We preach and teach from the Bible, and help you to see how it is both relevant and sufficient for your life. Worship gatherings typically last about an hour and fifteen minutes.

What should I wear?
At Morningside, we're not so concerned about what you are wearing.  Feel free to wear what is comfortable for you.

When do I need to arrive?
Our Life Group Bible Studies begin at 9:45AM and our Sunday Morning Worship Service begins at 11:00AM.  Parking is available near our main entrance.

What about my kids?
Morningside is a family-friendly environment. We believe that children are a blessing from God and should be taught about God both in the home and while gathered together for worship & Bible study. Childcare is available during all services for newborns-2 year olds, and we have a growing number of kids in our children's class, and would love to welcome your child so that you can connect to an adult Life Group.

What do I need to bring?
If you have a Bible, feel free to bring it with you.  It will be referenced and read frequently in both our Life Group Bible Studies and the Worship Service.  If you don't have a Bible or forget yours, don't worry!  We have plenty to go around!

Will I be expected to give an offering?
Although you are certainly free to contribute to the ministries of Morningside, we do not expect our guests to give a financial offering.
